W. Gage Liesman, MD

Born in San Antonio, Dr. Liesman returned home to Texas to join Dr. Floyd and Dr. Rowland at Urgent Orthopedic Specialist. He enjoys riding horses and was Captain of the University of Texas Polo Team while in college. After graduating with a degree in Finance from UT he completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and then went on to complete a 5 year surgical residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Tx. He then completed a prestigious fellowship with the Andrews Sports Medicine Institute in Alabama where he learned new techniques in ligament reconstruction, robotic knee replacements and minimally invasive knee/shoulder/elbow techniques.
